Institute for International Legal Studies

The Institute for International Legal Studies (ISGI) is a scientific organ of the National Research Council (CNR) that carries out research, training and expert consultancy in international law. The scientific activity of the Institute involves several important sectors of international law, as enumerated in its Statute: international law, law of international organisations, United Nations; integration law; unification of law; Italian contribution to the evolution of international customary norms; fundamental rights and international protection of human rights; law for new technologies: space and telecommunications law, bioethics and biotechnology; international environmental law and sustainable development.
